Sample Schedule for a Day in the life at Elevate.
In our unique one-room setting, students of all ages learn together, promoting cross-age learning and mentorship. During academic time students receive one-on-one instruction based on their individualized plan ensuring each student meets their learning goals, students also participate in shared activities, developing essential communication and teamwork skills. This holistic approach prepares students for real-world applications, where collaboration and adaptability are key. Through regular sharing and group activities, students hone their communication skills, learn from one another, and develop essential life skills.

Arrival and Morning Routine
Students arrive at school.
Morning meeting to discuss the day’s activities.

Farm Chores
Students participate in daily farm chores (feeding animals, cleaning barns, tending to gardens).

Lunch in a communal area, featuring farm-fresh ingredients (when available) prepared by students daily. Lunch teams switch daily.

Pod Learning mostly outside
Pod Learning: Student-Led Exploration In our Pod Learning program, students take the reins and drive their own learning experience. Each Pod consists of 3-5 students from mixed age groups, united by a shared passion for a specific subject. The possibilities are endless, ranging from: Animal studies, art projects, farm studies, vocational skills like welding, car maintenance, or baking Under the guidance of teachers, older students mentor and support their younger peers, creating a sense of community and leadership. Our role is to provide mentorship, encouragement, and support, while allowing students to take ownership of their learning journey. This approach: Develops self-directed learning and independence, leadership skills and collaboration encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking builds confidence and self-esteem by putting students in the driver's seat, we empower them to become active learners, innovators, and problem-solvers, equipped to thrive in our ever-changing world.
